Make sure your readers can find who to contact when they have further questions about your newsroom. Once you've uploaded spokesperson details, you can decide where those details appear. That might be on a press release, your main contact page in the newsroom, or both.

Example of spokespeople on the Contact page: Just Eat Takeaway

Adding a new spokesperson

To add a new spokesperson to your platform;

  1. From the platform, click Spokespeople.

  2. Click + Add spokesperson.

  3. Add an image and all the contact details you wish. Consider using your favicon as the image if you don't have a photo.

  4. If you don't want the spokesperson to show on your main contact page, check the tickbox at the bottom. They will still be available for use in your press releases.

  5. Save!

πŸ’‘ Multiple country newsrooms? You can choose different spokespeople per country.

Adding spokespeople to a press release

Automatically, your press release will have your spokespeople details added in two places, at the bottom and in the box out on the right.

You can override whose details show here by selecting different details. To do that:

  1. From the platform, select the Campaigns section.

  2. Either edit an existing campaign or create a new one by clicking + New campaign.

  3. In the second Settings page, select the spokespeople you would like to appear.

Adding agency or external spokespeople

If you're working with an external partner or agency, you can have those contacts appear within the body of your release, without them showing anywhere else.

  1. From the platform, select the Campaigns section.

  2. Either edit an existing campaign or create a new one by clicking + New campaign.

  3. In the first News release page, use the left hand menu to select a spokesperson.

4. Save! This will now show in your release body, but not in the contact sections to the right or below.
