Zapier is a tool that helps you automate repetitive tasks between two or more apps, without having to write code. When an event happens in one app, Zapier can tell another app to do a particular action (Zap). In this case, every time you publish a news article in the newsroom, we'll create a task in Asana.

The setup is twofold: Make sure you've completed part 1, on our Zapier Integrations page and then you can complete the process with the instructions below. At this point you should be in the Set up Action section.

The setup:

1. From the list of apps, choose or search for Asana.

2. In this article, we've chosen Create Task, but here you could choose whichever action you prefer.

3. Next, you'll be asked to choose and log into the appropriate Asana account. Click Continue.

4. Complete the fields in the Set up Action section. Yours will be different but here is our example for reference:

5. Hit Continue and then Test Action.

6. Hit Continue and then Test Action.

7. Check your Asana account: a new task should have been added.

8. Return to the Zap, make any adjustments you need to in the previous step, and then publish your Zap!

And that's it!
