Each time you publish a press release, a PDF version is automatically created and becomes available for download from your newsroom.

Exporting a draft release as a PDF

You can only export the PDF of live campaigns, so if your release is still in a draft state then you will not be able to export. However, a quick workaround is to publish your release as private, export your PDF and then put it back to a draft state.

  1. Go to the Settings page of your campaign editor.

  2. Mark the release as private.

3. Publish the campaign. No-one will be notified and it'll only be available to view if someone has the exact URL.

4. Export the PDF by visiting the live campaign.

5. Put your campaign back to a draft state (step 5 in the editor).

Updating your PDF

Once published in your newsroom, visitors have the option to download your release as a PDF. However, if you make any subsequent changes to the release then the PDF does not update automatically. Here's how to do it from the dashboard.

  1. Make the necessary edits in your release. Click Save and continue through all the steps. This will make sure that your release goes live once again, but this time with the updates.

2. Click on the campaign title.

3. Next, click on Actions.

4. Choose the option Regenerate PDF from the dropdown menu.
