Have you tried to sign up on pr.co and got this error message?

Sorry about this, but we believe it's necessary. Here's why:
1. A matter of trust for your contacts
When you get in touch with other people for business purposes, Β it's natural to use your business email - Your contacts will likely trust you more when you do.
You will use your business email as a reference at the end of your news releases. You will use your business email when you send a campaign to your media contacts, to your investors and to your customers. Due to the same reasons, we ask that users sign in to their pr.co accounts with their business email as well.
2. A matter of trust for email servers
You want not only people to trust you, but email servers as well. Since it's easier for spammers to use personal addresses, email servers usually apply more severe rules to them.
For instance, using a Yahoo or a Gmail address to send an email to lots of recipients already raises a red flag. This is why we're asking you to use a business email to create an account on pr.co.Β
And that's it!Β
If you have any questions β, feedback π¬, or are just as excited as we are π, don't be a stranger. We'd love to hear from you π
