We've built this editor from the ground up using the latest technologies. The editor is the primary way of writing content in pr.co, so you'll be able to write news releases, emails and in the future, even more!

There are two main menus you can use within the editor

Main contents menu

To insert any type of content just press the Menu button on the left. This will open a menu of all the available content types. Simple select the type you find most suitable to insert it into your document. You can also use this menu to change content type for a certain block or to remove a block, using the little cross button.

Change the size of images or text

Some types of content now have Meta-settings, these are mostly used to alter the way content is displayed. For instance for the title block you can now choose the size of the title (h1, h2, h3) by using the meta-settings controls.Β

To trigger the meta-settings controls, just click on the content you want to change, if it has any settings they'll be shown on top as a little control block.

H1, H2, H3 blocks

Use this block to insert your heading into the article, choose the h1 for the title of your article and the subsequent h2, and h3 headings to add structure to your content.

Quote block

This will allow you to insert a dedicated quote block to your article. The quote will take the full-width of the article and formatted in a prominent way to really catch the eye of the reader. You can define the quote and the quotee underneath.

Single media item block

Insert a single, full width, media item into your article. Please note that this can be anything in your Media Library, ranging from a large cover image to start-off your article to an in-line embedded video right in-between your paragraphs of body text.

Media gallery block

This is similar to to Single Media Item but instead allows you to choose multiple media elements, it will display this list of items as a gallery element which you can choose to display in a 2, 3, and 4 in-a-row grid format. Please note that you can mix-and-match images, videos, sounds and documents in one gallery block.

Clicking on one of the elements will open and preview this item in a special lightbox, showing more info on the image and giving the visitor the possibility to download or embed the media item.

Spokespeople block

This allows you to insert a Spokesperson into your article, this will be formatted as a contact card and can be inserted wherever you'd like it in the article.

Link block

With this you can add any URL to your message and it will generate a nice block with a pre-filled title and icon of the webpage behind it. If you'd like to change the title of this block, just click on it and start typing!

Formatting menu

You can also format your text with some options in this second menu. To access, highlight your text and the menu will automatically appear.

With this menu, you can:

Bold

Italicise
Underline

Strikethrough

Add subscript and superscript numbers

Add a hyperlink

Add bullet points

Add a numbered list
