We've completely rebuilt both Uploads & embeds and the Media bank to provide a faster, more flexible experience when managing your media assets.

Uploads & embeds has been rebuilt from the ground up to improve performance.

You can now:

Collections help you group related files together for quicker access.

Files can belong to one or multiple collections while remaining available in your main Uploads & Embeds library.

Managing large numbers of files is now much easier.

Select multiple files to add them to a collection or delete in bulk.

Select a file, then hold SHIFT, and finally click on the final file in the range you'd like to select all.

Each file now supports additional metadata, including:

You can also choose whether individual files should be downloadable from your newsroom.

We've updated file previews to better display:

Transparent images are also automatically recognised to help ensure they're displayed correctly throughout your newsroom.

The Media bank has also received a major update.

You can now move folders into other folders, making it easier to reorganise your media bank as your newsroom grows.

Edit media kits and folders directly without reloading the page, helping you make changes much more quickly.

Tags can now be managed from a dedicated popup window, allowing you to organise your media kits without leaving your current view.

Browsing through folders and the media bank is now significantly faster, making it easier to navigate even larger collections.

These updates lay the groundwork for future improvements, allowing us to continue adding new functionality to both Uploads & embeds and the Media bank over time.
